General Terms and Conditions

1. The Homosexuelle Initiative (HOSI) Wien sells admission tickets and table cards for events via the ‘Eventjet’ web shop.

2. The prices published on the website www.regenbogenball.at apply. The prices listed include VAT.

3. Tickets without seats and tickets with seats can be purchased for the Rainbow Ball. Admission to the Rainbow Ball is only permitted in appropriate clothing.

4. Discounted tickets without seats and tickets with seats can also be purchased for the Rainbow Ball. They are only valid in combination with a valid student ID, civil service or military service ID, or a Kulturpass or Mobilpass from the City of Vienna.

5. Members of the HOSI Wien association can also purchase tickets without seats and tickets with seats at the member price. These are only valid in combination with a valid membership card from HOSI Wien or one of the partner associations listed at www.regenbogenball.at.

6. Discounted tickets and tickets at the member price are valid per person; ID cards must be presented at the entrance on the day of the event together with the ticket.

7. People with disabilities who require personal assistance will receive a second free ticket without a seat for an accompanying person upon request with their purchased ticket.

8. Tickets can be paid for in cash, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or by EPS online transfer. Please note that the sale is only complete once payment has been approved by your bank or credit card company. We accept no liability for damages resulting from the purchase not being authorised by the bank or credit card company.

9. Paid tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. No replacement can be provided for tickets that have not been used or have only been partially used (e.g. due to late arrival) or for tickets that have been lost in any way.

10. In accordance with Section 5c (4) (1) and (2) of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) in combination with Section 5f (7) (1) of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), the customer has no right of withdrawal for contracts for services in the areas of accommodation, transport, delivery of food and beverages, and leisure activities if the entrepreneur undertakes to provide the services at the time of conclusion of the contract. 7 KSchG, the customer has no right of withdrawal from contracts for services in the areas of accommodation, transport, delivery of food and beverages, and leisure activities if the entrepreneur undertakes to provide the services at a specific time or within a precisely specified period (leisure services) when the contract is concluded. This means that there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of tickets or services associated with attending the ball, such as table reservations. In special cases, a refund may be granted as a gesture of goodwill up to 14 days before the event, subject to a processing fee.

11. If the event is cancelled, tickets already purchased will be refunded:

• If purchased via the web shop: you will be contacted directly by the ‘Eventjet’ web shop to process the refund.
• If purchased via an advance sales outlet: In this case, tickets can be returned to HOSI Wien during regular opening hours or sent by registered post to our address (Heumühlgasse 14/1, 1040 Vienna) – stating your bank details. The purchase price will be refunded by bank transfer.
• Changes to the programme are under no circumstances a reason for returning tickets.

12. By purchasing a ticket, you agree that photographs and films may be taken during the events and that these may be reproduced and published online and offline without any restrictions in terms of time or location. This consent is given expressly without any claim to remuneration.
