Every member of the opening committee receives free admission to the ball. We are looking forward to seeing you.
Rehearsals will take place under the direction of dance master Bernard Bach at the Dancing School Schwebach (Maculangasse 1b, 1220 Vienna). All dancers are requested to check in at least 15 minutes before each rehearsal to ensure rehearsals begin on time.
The positioning rehearsal on January 23, 2026, and the dress rehearsal on January 24, 2026, will take place directly at the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn.
For dance enthusiasts without badges but with basic waltz skills, an audition for the opening committee will take place on November 9, 2025, at the Dancing School Schwebach.
On November 2, 2025, dancers from Silver level upwards (even without badge) will have the opportunity to audition for the opening committee at the dancing school Schwebach.

You have to attend all rehearsals beforehand and the opening on the evening itself. Afterwards you are welcome to enjoy the ball night!
At the ball, evening dress is compulsory for all.
At the opening ceremony we wear uniform dress.
Due to organisational reasons, please be at the Parkhotel Schönbrunn from 4.30 pm, as the dress rehearsal will take place in the ballroom from 5 to 6.30 pm.
The opening committee mainly consists of same-sex couples, but opposite-sex couples and individuals are of course also welcome.
