You have to attend all rehearsals in your grade (basic or advanced) beforehand and the opening on the evening itself. Afterwards you are welcome to enjoy the ball night!
At the ball, evening dress is compulsory for all.
At the opening ceremony we wear uniform dress: leaders wear all-black clothing, while followers wear white.
For rehearsals, it is advantageous if leaders and followers are already wearing a black or white top, respectively.
The opening committee mainly consists of same-sex couples, but opposite-sex couples and individuals are of course also welcome.
For coordination, the gender-neutral terms "leader" (the person leading the dance) and "follower" (the person following the dance) are used.
