Colorful and elegant, this was the 26th Vienna Rainbow Ball

The 26th Vienna Rainbow Ball powered by L'Oréal Groupe took place on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn.

The evening was once again hosted by Peter Schreiber, well-known from the music and event industry. The ball was opened by the dance committee under the guidance of dance master Bernard Bach from the Schwebach dance school. The dancing was accompanied by bass-baritone Georg Eisenhut and tenor Thilo Cubasch. They received thunderous applause for their tender performance of "Lippen Schweigen" from the operetta "Die lustige Witwe". The opening was rounded off by Aaron-Casey Gould from the opera studio of the Vienna Volksoper.

Entertainment was then provided by Club Couleur by Grazia Patricia and Metamorkid accompanied by Yvonne Nightstand and Nani Mag. Viech as well as the band Desert Wind, while in the ballroom the guests danced to the sounds of the Wiener Damenkapelle Johann Strauss and the band A-live.

The highlight of the ball evening was the midnight interlude and Grande Dame of the Austrian musical Maya Hakvoort. "Performing as a midnight act felt like I was in another world - like a real pop star. The LGBTIQ* community carried me with their energy and the atmosphere was simply magical," she told the media.

Those who found the ballroom too crowded could waltz and disco samba on the dance floor in the Maria Theresia Salon under the guidance of the Schwebach dance school. The disco with DJ Marti.i and DJ Shane as well as the Gloriette Bar with DJane NicA and DJ J'aime Julien were available for the more energetic.

Those who wanted to take a break from dancing could do so at the Casinos Austria roulette table or at the L'Oréal Groupe styling corner. Unforgettable photos could be taken in the photo box and/or the video box.
